What We Believe
Our congregation is more orthodox in our approach to the Torah ans its observance, yet we allow the freedom that the Torah gives us to express our individuality within our community. The understanding is that when a law is a Doraita [Doraita, is a direct Torah command] there are no exceptions in its observance, but when it is D’Rabbanan [D’Rabbanan, are rulings if the rabbis] there is leniency as to its observance.
